I was on Cape Cod for a week in late June of this year. As usual, I took a ton of photos. I finally got a chance to dig through them. There were just too many ;) The hard part was weeding them out and picking my favorites. Not always the best. For instance, I like this Osprey with a stick:
Not as good as the photo at the top of the page, but I like the stick. I actually took a few photos of osprey with sticks, and some with fish, but most didn’t come out very well. Continue reading →
I don’t have time to write anything. These photos were quickly cropped but I didn’t have time to do anything else to them. Obviously I didn’t take time to decide which were my favorites ;) Well, I started with over 700, so I did cut the numbers down a bit. Unfortunately I didn’t get any good pictures of the young chicks this year. Nor did I get any taking off or landing. Continue reading →
I’m posting quite a few images here. All I can say is I had a hard time weeding them down to this few. OK, I need to back up for a minute.
I went to visit Ohio over Memorial Day weekend. For those of you from other parts of the world, Memorial Day is always the last Monday in May. Although Ohio is 600 miles inland from where I live, my parents live close to one of the Great Lakes, Lake Erie. The weekend after I returned from Ohio I went down to Cape Cod. It seems that in both of these places I spent my time taking pictures of birds. Continue reading →
