Party Disasters

PHOTO PROMPT © Fatima Fakier Deria

I thought it was a brilliant idea. Right.

You’ve seen videos, photos, cartoons of all of the legendary monsters having a Halloween party, right?  I decided to do it for real.

Have you ever tried to track down some of these ghouls?  Not easy, let me tell you. And I had to settle on Monday the 28th. Seems they were all busy on the big day.

The party wasn’t very lively, but I guess it should have been expected with the dead.

The worst is that one left a lot of full Tupperware. The police are notifying next of kin.

Party hint number 37 – make sure there is a convenient tree just outside of the front door.  The werewolf begins to “mark” after his second or third drink….

That was the problem with having it on Monday, I felt like the walking dead at work on Tuesday. I asked a witch for something to help me stay awake, like an amphetamine, but I think she misheard that word since I fell madly in love with the coffee maker at work…

A somewhat creepy tale. You decided to play with real ghouls. So you created these ghouls out of your guests or you acquired them from somewhere else? It was understandable that party was dead, quite literally.

I invited true monsters, typically movie monsters or monsters from legends, to a party, but the reality of these monsters wasn’t as fun as cartoons about such parties would make them out to be. For example, true monsters eat people….

You can’t. It isn’t really their fault, though. I’m sure if your brain was dead for a while and then reanimated by evil forces, you’d forget a thing or two yourself, perhaps you’d dribble brain on a freshly mopped floor and do things like that…

I guess it’s my fault since I did say the party is BYOB and they interpreted it as “Bring Your Own Body” – OK, the zombies thought “Brain” instead of “Body”, but that was just as gruesome ;)
