    Hi Trent,
It’s been awhile. Good to catch up.
I enjoyed the accent and it really brought the story to life and you did a great job maintaining it throughout. Or, was it too good? Do you have a secret life?
I had my 50th birthday last week and have been catching up with friends and family in small groups which has been great for really being able to talk but I’m not getting a lot done. It’s also the tail end of winter here and I tell you there’s often a sting in the tail end and it’s pretty cold atm. Well, pretty cold by our standards…11-21 degree celsius which sounds pretty lame but we don’t have central heating in most of our homes. You’re in bed with the electric blanket on but there’s this chill all around you and I try to pull everything up all around me to keep it out. Meanwhile, during the day a bright light filters through my bedroom window and it’s like a form of indoor sunbaking. I’ve been reading a fabulous book: Here’s the review: https://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/books/shell-review-kristina-olssons-provocative-novel-of-australia-and-ideas-20181107-h17mmf.html
Hope things are going well with you, Trent.
    Best wishes,
    Rowena

Thanks, Rowena. No, no secret life for me ;)

50 is a scary number, but is still pretty young (having reached a few years back).

I think it ideal on these hot summer days here when the temps get down to between 13 and 20 at night – it’s great sleeping weather. When it is humid and only gets down to 23 or 27, it stays in the 30s in the house and I don’t sleep.

Anyway, it sounds like you are doing well, even if you aren’t getting a lot done. I hope you have a great week ahead!

Thanks very much, Trent. My son went on a scout camp a few months ago when it was warmer and slept outside under the stars in a hammock. I could see you enjoying something like that.
Got a bit more done today and have got back into my blogging this week and catching up with other bloggers and it’s helped.
Hope you have a great week end.
        Best wishes,
        Rowena

Yep, it seems City Hall has it’s fingers in everyone’s pie. However, there is another interpretation – Big Jim knew these not very smart men would get caught, so he never told them his real address… hez smart ;)
