Words Unsaid

Been busy and have no poem for today (yet), so I decided to go back a couple of years and found this. And I still want to know….

Trent's World (the Blog)

Josie-n-me

The words unsaid
Are the loudest, I find
For what you don’t tell me
Rattles my mind
And the color of void
If you didn’t know
Is sparkling bright
Like a giant rainbow
Don’t go and hide
The words I must know
For telling me naught
Worries me so
So please tell me now
For the sake of my head
All of those words
That you’ve left unsaid

As the photo implies, I’m waiting for Josie to whisper her kitty nothings in my ear ;)

Very often no words are needed at all. But then, sometimes, we do need them. Truthfully, I forget what was behind the thought that created this poem. I think it was someone I hadn’t talked to in a while, who just disappeared.

Ah- the words left unsaid, Those are hard not to hear. What came to mind for me was when I volunteered in a hospital visiting patients, just sitting quietly sometimes spoke volumes for the person
