Weekly Smile #WeeklySmile

Weekly Smile #WeeklySmile

I’m sorry, but I have no time to write this :(  I’ve been very busy and I’m out of town.  But, as i said on Sunday, in many ways, being too busy for social media to me is a very good thing.

I took a short vacation at the end of last week.  yes, I only visited my cottage on Cape Cod, which I typically do a couple of times a month, but I took time off of work.

I kayaked several times, walked on the beach, walked in the woods, ate seafood, took dogs to the beach, took dogs to the woods, played with dogs, ran, etc., etc.  It was a great time.  And I got the outdoor shower running again, so I showered outside.  I know that sounds odd, but there is something about it.

That is my smile, a short vacation.

So, what made you smile this week? Write about it and post on the link-up (or click the little blue frog below). While you’re there, read what everyone else is smiling about! And come back to it later, if last week is any indication new smiles will be added daily!

Note – the weekly smile runs Wednesday Morning to Wednesday morning.  I post in the morning (Eastern US) and put up the link usually between 7 and 8 AM EST.  I also try to post on Sunday as a reminder.  People can and do join throughout the week.

spring break on the Cape.

It is always great to have a get away. I go down to this cottage maybe a couple of times a month and do pretty much the same types of things while I am there, but it’s nice to have the time off work (I telework from there). Also, just calling it a “vacation” helps.

Thanks Trent, I really did. It was good for my soul. I feel much more refreshed now. Your place on Cape Cod sounds amazing. I bet the dogs enjoyed it too. I have two English Mastiffs. Never taken them to an ocean or lake yet. I often wonder what they would do. Lol…

Lol… I had a 7 lb Maltese when I first brought them home. She died a year later, I think of a broken heart… :(
They are 300 lbs combined and so loveable. But my house is not the pristine place it used to be. I’ve had to learn to just let it be. It’s impossible to keep up with their messes. ;)
