Seasons of Imagination is a collection of short stories about people. McDonald explores the depth of the human condition by placing characters in different situations to see how they interact with one another.
The collection is an eclectic variety of short fiction. There is no set genre the collection falls into and no specific theme, but it works. At its heart Seasons of Imagination is about people. People are different, they are unable to be categorised, people are eclectic. McDonald shows the good, the bad, and the ugly. He doesn’t shy away from the truth.
