I See Her

I just remembered this tonight and wanted to repost it….

Trent's World (the Blog)

woman portrait

I see her timid
Quiet doe in a meadow
Beautiful, calm and still
Camouflaged from the predatory mind
Shrouded in respectability
Straight-laced, ribbons and bows

I see her fierce
Looking at me with a gleam in her tiger’s eye
A dragon’s heart beating in her chest
Mischief in her mind
Wild to her core

Mmmm, now I see why you were reminded of this poem…I really really like your way with words on this one…and the whole feel of it, soft yet piercing. Plus the drawing is perfectly complimentary to it !

I’m pretty lucky, I don’t get many trolls on my page. I very rarely moderate anything unless it is obviously spam. I know some people who constantly battle it. Not that this was bad, just kind of odd…
