We then bath the particles in powerful laser light coming from the eight cardinal points, super charging this ‘bottle of batteries’ until it enters a new state of matter. That’s when the fun begins. You see, at some point in time…”

“No, Daddy.”

“What, Honey?”

“That’s just a jar full of old batteries.”

“Well, I told you it was a prototype, didn’t I?”

      There is no reason why we should let the very young hog that precious resource, imagination, it needs to be free for us all to use. The last time I did Friday Fictioneer I had another Father/Daughter battle over imagination, but the daughter won that round. I thought it was the father’s turn to win in this story.
