Waiting for My Flight

Waiting to be shoved

Into an aluminum can

Seatbacks in upright position

Quiet whispers

Into a phone

Fasten seatbelts

Nervous laughter

Voices on the intercom

Prepare the cabin for takeoff

Sorry for bad format, this was written on my phone

I usually format my poems so there are no spaces and they’re colored purple. I also put up a nice graphic. I was thinking of doing that when i got home but decided it’s fine as is – a little piece of time embedded in amber.
